My photos posted on sxc.hu received more then 12 000 downloads in less then a year. I have only 15 photos posted taken by me an almost an year ago, a single photo received more then 4 000+ downloads (that means much I think).

A real resource for designers. A website with over 1 000 000 registered users, I think is the best free stock photos website. You can browse categories and find over 200 000 quality photos submitted by more then 15 000 photographers. The big advantage is that this big community offers their work to the public free of charge. So if you are looking for a photo for your design / brochure or for inspiration look around.
